Naziha Mokadem, PhD

Dr. Naziha Mokadem is a Postdoc researcher at North-West University (Potchefstroom campus in South Africa  ). She is part of the NWO-NRF-funded project between the Netherlands and South Africa on the project Water-Energy-Food Nexus. She has expertise in geology, hydrogeology, water quality, hydrochemical, isotope water management, water resources estimation, the impact of water quality on human health and groundwater investigations. Her research and working area span Tunisia, Algeria, Spain and South Africa

She received her PhD degree in Geology (2017) from the University of Sfax (Tunisia), and she holds B.Sc. degree in Life and Earth Sciences (2010) and M.Sc. degree in Applied Geology (2012) from Carthage University (Tunisia). Dr N. Mokadem did a postdoctoral fellowship at North-West University, Potchefstroom campus in South Africa (During 2018-present). She has experience in publishing quantitative research, lecturing and student supervision. Dr. Naziha has published a total of 24 peer-reviewed research articles and attended 20 national and international conferences and workshops, particularly on hydrogeology, water resources and research. She is an active member of different professional organizations (South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNSP), Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA), International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), Geological Society of South Africa (GSSA)).
